House Season 6 Episode 2

Episode 2 was interesting to say the best. It's still not House as we've grown to know him and love him, but it was interesting. It was started off by House resigning and Foreman taking over the team, which he does a miserable job leading because Taub is doubting him and 13 is doing her own thing. House, on the other hand, starts suffering from worsening leg pain and starts taking cooking classes in order to distract himself from the pain.

Back at the hospital, Foreman struggles to figure out his patient's mysterious illness, so the patient becomes impatient and posts his medical records online and offers a $25,000 reward to the person who correctly diagnoses him. Foreman, of course, refuses to read through the people's responses online and decides to do his own thing, 13 on the other hand decides to go through the posts and discovers that one of them is correct and starts treating the patient with the correct treatment behind Foreman's back. Foreman then later discovers the illness and runs in, only to find out that the patient is already getting better and he knew nothing about it. Taub ends up quitting because he wanted to work under House, not Foreman, and then Foreman decides to fire 13 because it would be too difficult to be your hot girlfriend's boss.

At the very end, House is sitting with his psychiatrist and shows his a check that was written to him for $25,000. Proving that House was actually the mystery person online that figured out the illness that his former team was missing. He solved their case without them knowing, and confessed to the psychiatrist that this was the only thing that temporarily got rid of his leg pain. Meaning one thing, House is back as well all hoped and expected!

The episode itself was full of way too much drama (and yes I know its a medical drama, but there wasn't too much medical and way too much drama). But the way it ended made everyone excited for the next episode and probably the rest of the season. Writers are getting back on track slowly, hopefully they bring out House back.

This past week, House finished 5th overall in the ratings bringing in just over 17 million viewers. The only shows ahead of him were the 2 NCIS shows and Sunday night football.

Next episode will air next Monday at 8pm on Fox. As always, here is the preview:
